Technische Hochschule Wildau (Technical High School Wildau) is located in the suburbs of Berlin, in the federal state of Brandenburg. TH Wildau was officially opened in 1991, but its history goes back to 1949 – the year the Wildau School of Engineering, focused on heavy engineering, was founded.
Now the University of Applied Sciences Wildau is one of the 5 technical universities in the state of Brandenburg, and is the largest of them. The university was one of the first in Germany to receive an ISO 9001 quality certificate in 2009. It is a research center and has been a leader among German universities in the field of applied sciences since 2001. Emphasizes optical technologies, biosystems operation, bioinformatics, aeronautical engineering, logistics, and information technology. The motto of TH Wildau is: “We have a great place to study and a peaceful life.”
TH Wildau is a partner of the Kazakh-German Institute of Sustainable Engineering in the Logistics educational program.
