DKU

The German-Kazakh University (Deutsch-Kasachische Universität, DKU) was founded in 1999 in Almaty and currently has the status of an International University.

The university operates with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany, within the framework of an agreement between the Governments of the Federal Republic of Germany and the Republic of Kazakhstan.

DKU prepares sought-after specialists with knowledge of two foreign languages, who are able to put into practice the advantages of a German education to achieve career and scientific growth.

The educational programs of the German-Kazakh University have international accreditation and correspond to the programs of German partner universities. From the 3rd year onwards, classes are taught by professors and associate professors from Germany. There are double degree and academic mobility programs.

Currently, training is conducted in 8 bachelor's degree programs and 8 master's programs.

DKU graduates work both in Germany and Kazakhstan, in leading local and foreign companies.

Yessenov University

The Caspian University of Technology and Engineering named after Sh.Yessenov (Yessenov University), founded in 1976 and located in Aktau.

The current name of the university was given to it in honor of the outstanding Kazakh scientist Shakhmardan Yessenov, who made a great contribution to the development of geological science and the geological service of Kazakhstan.

Currently, the Caspian State University of Technology and Engineering named after Sh. Yessenov provides educational services in 43 undergraduate specialties, 18 master's degrees and 5 doctoral specialties.

The university has three academic buildings, three dormitories, three training grounds, and a sports complex with a swimming pool. Studying is conducted in Kazakh, English, German and Russian.
